THE WE LOVE YOU PROJECT

ISSUE
In 2016 the social climate in America resembled the civil rights era and clips of police brutality were seen too often on the news and social platforms. Media painted a picture of what they thought of African Americans for years and the effects run deep. Hatred for a people is learned but with the power of community and the internet, we can take back our image.

CREATIVE CONTRIBUTION
Break the Internet by empowering Black men of all ages through photography and social media. Redefine the narrative of African Americans through accurate images and art and activism.

Google Culturural institute

Partnered with Google to take portraits of the Black employees at the San Jose Campus and submit We Love You images to the Cultural Institute.
